Project Update: Successful Completion of SOMI

The industry/academia collaborative project under KK-Stiftelsen has successfully been concluded.

Stockholm, April 12, 2017 – Attana, AstraZeneca, Waters Nordic and Karlstad University have successfully finalized the SOMI-project (Studies of Molecular Interactions for Quality Assurance, Bio-Specific Measurement & Reliable Supercritical Purification), co-financed by the Swedish Knowledge Foundation (KK-Stiftelsen).

A new evaluation tool, "Adaptive Interaction Distribution Algorithm" (AIDA), for characterizing molecular interactions using Attana´s 3rd generation biosensors has been developed. The tool determines the heterogeneity of the drug-receptor interaction and can be used for e.g. improved selection and lead optimization.
